my future job.

hi hi!!!

i think, i spoke something about this topic in other situation, but, i want to explain this, one more time.
as you must know, i'm studing psychology, but, recently i discover that i dont like very much the job that the psychologist do. i don't like the organizational psychology, or the legal psychology, for example... i think, i preffer the clinical psychology and the community psychology, a little bit. but neither convinces me at all.

but, i want to tell you, recently, i discovered something calling "payamedicos" . this are an organization of doctors and psychologist who works taking care about emotional conditions of the people who stay for a long ( or short) time in a hospital. making his stay more confortable.  i mean, this is the perfect job for me!
for this, i'm thinking of taking a major in humanistic psychology to achieve some knowledges that allow me to introduce myself in this job. by the way, if i want to job in this, i need a special course that is given by the organization in argentina, so, i think i must go there someday.

now, the salary is not a problem, i dont have a family or a big ambition with money... i just hope to enjoy my job helping people, this will be good for me. when i have made this dream, i'll think in start to work in some place that could give me some money for live haha.

that's all, see you!

countries, countries countries !

discrimination!

actually, this is one of the most frecuently topics in differents aspects of the life. in the school, the job, even in the street we can see some kind of discrimination. is not a rare thing to see a pair of homosexuals walking for the street holding their hands, and a person who sees and says something offensive. Or in the school, when a boy start to make fun about other for his skin color, religious, his body, whatever.

what can we do respect this problem? 'cause yes, in my opinion is one of the biggest problems of our society, for that, i think we need to educate the people about this topic, raise awareness that, although we are different, we are the same at the end.

we should be more carefull with the things that we say about others. i remember, when i was a child,a boy of my class made fun of me because i was so skinny. i felt really bad for that, because all my friend started to call me "the skinny little worm". ok, this could be funny for you, but for me, it's wasn't too much.

i mean, the things that we say to other people could be funny for us, but to others could be not. this is one type of discrimination and exist a lot of people who start to feeling depressive for this. we need to change that and begin to respect each others.

so, now you know, this is the first step to create a better society. Be the first example of respecting others! C:

green girl?

How green are you? I’m a green girl?
Really, I don't know. I mean, usually I throw the trash in the bin, but I don't separate the organic trash of the inorganic trash, for example. I don't use sprays, I not smoke and I prefer walk or cycle instead cars. But I don't think that I could be a green girl. I really wish to learn more about this topic and how I can take care of the environment. I think the people can learn more about this in different places like fairs or meeting with persons that usually lives taking care of the environment.
In my habits I’m trying to do something for take care of environment, of planet, of the air, whatever; but I just do simply things, like pick up trash lying, turn off the lights that I don’t using and use rechargeable batteries. I don’t like when the people waste the water when wash their car or I don’t know, when they turn on the lights during the day, when they are unnecessaries.

Although I like the environmental practices, I don’t support any eco- organizations. The truth is that I like working in it, but I not so involved with this matter to be in some association.

I think in this society especially in Santiago the culture about this issue is missing. The people haven’t the habits to make the city a better place, for example, when exist a pre-emergency, and the rule says “please don’t use the car” the most of people ignore this or start to feel angry for have to move in a bus. Anybody think about the environmental, instead, the most of the people says “ooohhh god, this is so uncomfortable thing! I need my car now”

But well, I hope this situation can change, and all of us can do something for the environment, at least a small change! It will be something.

See you soon!

learning with the body

As you know (or i think so) this term, i can choice all my classes! i started with the elective subjects and my favorite class until today is one calling " the therapist as a person". This is an experiential class, I mean,  our classes are less conventional than other class of lecture. For example, at the beginning of the it, we do a little bit of “wu shu’s training” we breathe-in and breathe-out a lot! Haha, to free the energy of body.

As you can see, this is one of the main reasons why this is my favorite class, we can explore the knowledge through the body and the experience. This is a humanist elective, there are not much of these kinds in the university and I think they are so much necessaries for my career and my professional life! Because we will work with persons! And we can’t stay in front of they without knowing ourselves. This class allow us to take a look into ourselves, recognize our own problems and the emotions that we have or feel in each moment of the days of life, and i don't know, it give us a new experience in the university. Because it, i think is an important class that, in my opinion, should be in the basic cycle, because it take the theory and  lead it to the experience of the student.

Really, if you study psychology someday, you must take this class, it make me feel more comfortable with myself and teach me other ways of learning.

See you soon!!!

chilean march peacefully for sexual diversity

Recently, i discovered that exist a newspaper calling "Santiago Times" I had not idea about it, and my teacher said that would be a great idea start to reading something in this, you know, to practice the english. I started reading a new about a chilean march for sexual diversity, it said, in a few words, that around of 70,000 lesbians, gays, bisexuals and transexuals activists and supporters came together in Santiago Saturday to rally support for increased recognition and rights on a variety of issues.
the march presented three main focuses for 2012's, this are add a preventative mechanism to Chile’s recently-passed anti-discrimination law, provide representative identification for transsexuals and develop an education campaign about sexual differences in public schools.
if you want to know more about this new, you can read it following this link:

http://www.santiagotimes.cl/chile/human-rights-a-law/25216-chileans-march-peacefully-for-sexual-diversity-#linktext_

as you know i'm studing psychology, and this is a common topic in class or even in conversations with friends. its because, if you dont know, there is a complicated controversy about sexual diversity. many psychological currents claimed, until some time, that sexual diversity was a pathological condition. Fortunately, today this is not longer so.

I think, is an important question to demand for respect to the people with a different sexual condition, because, there not different people! is necesary more information to the people for accept them in the society, they can do the same things that the heterosexual people do, and not for their different choice we can marginalize them of the world. I SAID!
